CRECO Inc. a merit shop contractor was established in 1968 by Thomas W. Hawkins, Sr. Our first customer was the James Rouse Company in Columbia, Maryland. Since the beginning our clientele has remained first class. CRECO has continued working with many of its original clients. These close relationships have attributed to CRECO's growth.

CRECO has been able to perform most of its work on a negotiated basis attributable to our service and ability to be the pacesetter on the job. Our objective is to look at the project through the eyes of the owner.

The majority of projects completed over our 30 plus years in business have been commercial multi-story hotels, office buildings, apartments, hospitals and shopping centers.

A "partnering" approach is our goal with each and every client. We achieve this by taking a quantity of work that can be totally managed. The result is the utmost in quality and our ability to meet schedules.

A primary key to accomplishing this has been and still is our management team: built with veteran employees that have been with CRECO from its inception and second generation employees that have the same company philosophy. CRECO's ability to produce can also be credited to its impeccably maintained company-owned and operated fleet of equipment and shoring inventory, one of the largest in the area.

CRECO's headquarters is housed in a 27,000 square foot office and yard complex on 8 acres in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. This along with a state-of-the-art computerized office and estimating staff help to complement the field and have contributed in making CRECO one of the quality concrete contractors in Virginia, Maryland and Washington,
D. C. for over 30 years.
